Sense of Place
Just beyond the cyder orchards and Four Seasons Garden, half a mile from Hadspen as the crow flies, this former dairy farm is an idyllic spot to spread out and lean back, cheek-to-rosy-cheek with grazing livestock and sheltering oaks. A haven of tranquility, gurgling natural springs spill into ponds and meandering mills. Milk churns nod to the past, curious feather-footed chickens patrol courtyards and cutting gardens and orchards take on a ‘secret garden’ feel.
Original farm buildings, with a delightfully golden patina, are home to rooms, a pool, bar, snug and all-day kitchen. Bikes and buggies provide ample opportunity for moseying over to the gardens, the spa at Hadspen and The Botanical Rooms restaurant in less than 10 minutes via our picturesque orchards.

With charming original features harking back to their agricultural roots and plenty of hidden nooks, our five Farmyard and four Farmhouse rooms are serene spaces with bucolic countryside and courtyard vistas. Our two-bedroom Room with a View is ideal for families.
Farmyard Pool
Our indoor pool at the Farmyard is the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Open from 8am – 8pm, we welcome families all day. Hotel residents are warmly encouraged to make the most of our wealth of treatments, spa facilities and daily wellness and yoga schedule over at Hadspen Spa during their stay.
Farmyard Kitchen
Experience creative dishes worth sharing at Farmyard Kitchen. Located in an old threshing barn at the beating heart of the Farmyard, our chefs serve hearty, cheering fare using ingredients grown, foraged and reared on the estate. Seasonal elements, wood-fired then dished-up in the open kitchen in front of your table.

Farmyard is a place where you can cosy up in the Snug with a board game or watch a movie, and wander into the Garner Bar, pour yourself a drink and sink into a velvet sofa. Complimentary drinks and cakes are available daily for hotel residents.
Family At Farmyard
Tucked away, families are welcome to jump in the pool all day. Boots get a little muddier and the cosy Kitchen is alive with wood-fired cooking. Many of the rooms can be configured with cots or roll out beds; opt for our dedicated two-bedroom family suite; or take over all four bedrooms in the idyllic Shatwell House.
