Roaring fires and warming feasts – the Garden Café is now open for group bookings this Christmas
In the season of good cheer, no one needs an excuse to raise a toast, sit down to an indulgent feast, or pull up a chair with loved ones, colleagues and friends.
Our eateries will be brimming with festive flavours given a Newt spin, so book in for celebratory dinners, new menus, and insightful tastings.
Private estate tours can also be added to daytime group visits, making it easy to turn a festive lunch into a full day at The Newt.
Eat The Garden
Growers gather the finest seasonal ingredients from the kitchen gardens daily, from sun-warm heritage tomatoes to beautiful brassicas. Our vegetable-led menu is served with spoils from the estate Butchery, Bakery, Creamery and local artisans in Somerset beyond.
Members and their guests can enjoy our new two or three-course menu at lunch. You’ll find the likes of coal baked onion, sweetcorn spelt risotto, and barbecued apricot on the two or three course menu, singing of the season.
Please note, Newt Membership is required to visit the Garden Café. Members can invite non-members, however a Day Guest Pass is required.
