Book A Garden Tour

Discover more about the gardens from a member of the team who tends them, on a daily 60-minute guided tour at 2pm. Nurtured over the last 200 years by a succession of green-fingered experts, learn about the history and inspirations behind centuries of English garden design and how today’s team are building on the bones of the past.

Book A Bee Safari

Take to the gardens with a member of our Bee Team, to learn about our bee colonies and pollinators on the estate: from their natural habitats to a bee’s life cycle and why honeybees swarm. The safari concludes at our immersive Beezantium exhibit.

Bee Safaris run at 2.30pm on weekdays, meeting at the Threshing Barn. Book in advance to secure your spot on the day of your visit. Please note, a valid Newt membership is required to book a safari.

Enjoy a Cyder Tour & Tasting

Learn more about the art of Somerset cyder-making on a guided journey led by one of our expert cyder team. Over the course of 45 minutes, you'll taste four different cyders, see our state-of-the-art Cyder Cellar & Press, and uncover the secrets of our slow fermentation process and the heritage apple varieties that make our Cyder so distinctive.

Advance booking is advised for our daily tours at 12pm & 2pm. Please note, a valid Newt membership is required to book a tour.

A Garden for All Seasons

Influenced by thousands of years of horticultural history, take a stroll through acres of formal gardens and perhaps learn something along the way. We share the land with a host of wildlife; you may spot native deer promenading in the woods or Great Crested newts bathing in the ponds.
