Somerset Safari
18 September / 9:30am
The Newt estate is blessed with a wonderful diversity of wildlife, from enigmatic newts in our waterways, to furry mammals and scaly reptiles in the woods, and a plethora of feathered friends above.
Join our resident ecologist, Dr Tom, as he brings you closer to nature, tells the stories of our fauna, and shares practical advice on how to enhance habitats in your own gardens. Start by inspecting a moth trap set the night before, enjoy a guided walk through the estate, and learn to identify species of insects, newts, and birds, spot the signs of passing mammals and gain insight into the best positioning for bird boxes.
Includes
Tea or coffee with our signature cinnamon bun upon arrival.
