The Romans loved a holiday – and so do we. So head to Villa Ventorum over the summer break for a host of Newtlings-friendly historical activities. Learn willow weaving and watch how pots emerge as if by magic from clay. Try the flavours and aromas of ancient Rome at our faithfully reconstructed Thermopolium, or join in our have-a-go archery sessions and fresco painting workshops.

Our horse and cart rides will return on weekends, with the Thermopolium open Friday to Tuesday. For everything else, ask the team at the Threshing Barn to find out what's on that day.
