Roman Villa Garden Tour (October)

Villa Ventorum’s gardens are inspired by the productive and ornamental gardens of Roman Britain. On this tour you’ll discover the herbs, fruits, flowers and useful plants that would have been grown for food, medicine and everyday life, and learn how these gardens balanced beauty with practicality.
Along the way, you'll explore the history of the site, the inspiration behind the garden's design, and how many of these ancient gardening traditions continue to influence gardening today.

Timings:
Meet in the Roman Villa Museum for 10.45am
Tour begins at 11am
Tour finishes at roughly 11.45am
