Newtlings: Art Studio

Discover a self-guided world of creativity with the Newtlings Art Studio at the Story of Gardening. Inspired by nature, gardening, storytelling and seasonal themes, this free drop-in activity invites children and families to explore simple art activities at their own pace.

Created in collaboration with Let's Make Art – artists-in-residence at Bristol's Arnolfini centre – the Art Studio provides an accessible and engaging creative space for families to pause and enjoy. From moving paper creations and flip books to garden-inspired crafts and nature-themed activities, the Art Studio features a creative prompt and materials to encourage drawing, making, storytelling and imaginative play.

Available on selected Saturdays throughout summer – look out for signage on entry.
