Espalier Fruit Tree Training

Join Lead Fruit Grower, Andy 'Apples' Lewis in the Parabola Walled Garden as he leads you through how to succeed in the art of espalier.

In this extended masterclass you will be introduced to the techniques, skills and secrets used by the Fruit Team to train fruit trees in all manner of forms. This is a rare opportunity to learn from our resident fruit experts. You will cover: how to read a tree, when to prune, how to install supports, different forms (Belgian Fence, single cordons, double cordons, step-overs, goblets, double helix, fan, and more).

All materials and equipment are provided.

Please wear sturdy footwear and practical clothing.

Includes: Tea & coffee on arrival with the Bakery’s signature cinnamon bun, ending with lunch at the Garden Café.
