Newtlings Short: Ecology Explorers – An Estate Expedition

Ready your explorer spirit and embark on a wild expedition as you step into the shoes of an ecologist, investigating the incredible web of wildlife that surrounds us.

Hunt for creatures, investigate trees and plants, follow tracks and trails and search for clues left behind by birds and mammals. Along the way, Newtlings will get hands-on with some of the fieldwork skills our experts use to study the natural world and discover how everything – from the tiniest creature to the tallest tree – is connected.

And there’s a rather special resident to discover along the way: our red squirrels. You’ll learn about their lives at The Newt and help prepare a feast for them to enjoy.

Part expedition, part investigation and a whole lot of wild discovery.

Age Guidance
Children aged 6+ can attend unaccompanied. We would love to welcome curious explorers under 6; we just kindly ask that an adult accompanies them.
