Easter Tree Climbing

Have an adventure and get closer to nature with the Great Big Tree Climbing Company. We invite you to scale a magnificent tree with exceptional views. This is a safe and fun way to learn and develop climbing skills, all without harming the trees. Led by qualified instructors, test balance and co-ordination and enjoy the Estate from a new perspective. Suitable for adults and children alike, aged 6+. Each session lasts an hour.

Is this suitable for adults?

Yes, this activity is great fun for adults and children alike.

What is the minimum age to take part?

Participants must be a minimum of 6 years old.

How physically demanding is the tree climb?

The climbing technique does require you to have a reasonable level of strength in your lower and upper body. The majority of work is done with your legs, but participants are required to be active and healthy. We are able to help children who struggle but our instructors will be unable to pull up adults who are unable to carry out the technique. We invite parents and carers to consider whether this activity feels like the right fit for their child, particularly regarding the level of physical challenge and gross motor skills involved for our youngest climbers.

How much time should you allow to get to the tree climbing location?

From the Car Park it's a 15-20 minute walk, from the Threshing Barn approx. 10-15-minute walk. Please aim to arrive at the Tree Climbing location 15 minutes before your session. (What3words///viewing.clauses.hardback)
