Join Christina, Head Gardener from the Story of Emily and Arthur, Head of Programmes at the Newt, for a peaceful early morning walk through the gardens as they awaken for the day. Along the walk the topic of conversation will include the story of Emily Hobhouse, why a garden in Cornwall is connected to the Boer War, and the relationship between one of the West Country's most energetic suffragists and The Newt. Christina and Arthur will exchange ideas, experiences and inspiration, offering a fascinating insight into the past, present and future of two exceptional landscapes.
