This hands-on workshop celebrates the wonderful world of bugs and the habitats they call home.

Inspired by a design created by one of The Newt's horticulturalists, Newtlings will craft their own nature teepee using natural materials gathered from the estate. Under the guidance of one of our education leaders and an expert estate gardener, they'll discover why insects are so important to our gardens and learn how thoughtful habitat design can support pollinators and other beneficial wildlife.

Families will also help contribute to our growing Bug Hotel Village at The Newt, creating lasting homes for the tiny creatures that help our gardens thrive.

Each child will take home their own handcrafted wildlife teepee – a beautiful addition to the garden and a welcome refuge for nature.
