Beekeeping: Build a Honey Frame

Have you ever wondered what bees and beekeepers get up to during the winter months? Join us for an insightful morning to learn about all things honeybee.

Hosted in our newly constructed Honey House, you will spend the morning with our experienced beekeepers gaining an understanding of the complex social structure of a honeybee hive, tasting some honey and building your very own honey frame. The frame that you build will be added to one of our 20 honeybee hives on the estate in the spring and once this frame is filled with delicious golden honey you will be sent a jar of the honey collected from your frame.

Includes: Tea/coffee and our signature cinnamon bun with lunch in the Garden Café
