Entry To The Gardens
As part of our ongoing partnership, RHS members can enjoy the gardens for free every Tuesday and Wednesday. Roam the estate, visit our attractions, book a workshop and enjoy a leisurely lunch in one of our restaurants.
Simply show your RHS card at The Gatehouse for complimentary entry.
RHS Members are also able to purchase a Guest Day Pass on the day, at The Gatehouse, for additional (non RHS Member) guests, for £25.
The Great Garden Show
Secateurs at the ready, we’re calling all plant growers, flower-friends, tree enthusiasts and horticultural hedonists to join us for our inaugural garden show.
RHS Members are welcome to join us for free throughout the nine-day celebration, simply show your membership card on arrival. Coming with a non member? No problem, your guests can simply buy a ticket to the show, pre booking is strongly recommended.
A Newt Upgrade?
As an RHS Member, The Newt also offers an on-the-day incentive to become part of our Newt family. Our 12-month membership is your ticket to enjoy the estate, gardens and exclusive seasonal events all year round, including free entry to a growing network of renowned partner gardens including The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and the Eden Project.

A Day At The Newt
From superb formal gardens to cyder orchards and ancient woodlands, The Newt offers acres to explore. Do as the Romans once did in Somerset by touring our reimagined Villa Ventorum; discover the secret life of bees at the Beezantium; or let The Story of Gardening exhibit transport you to gardens across the ages. Sustenance for your day can be found in one of three estate restaurants and relaxed garden eateries, and stop off at our Farm Shop and House & Garden Shop to bring a taste of The Newt home.
