'Wassail' Willow Workshop

Guided by master weaver Stefan Jennings, Newtlings will enjoy an hour-long workshop learning the craft of willow weaving as they create their own little apple, rooted in Somerset tradition.

Inspired by our orchard Estate, the season of early pruning, and the quiet preparations for Wassail, each family will weave an apple to take home as a tactile keepsake of the turning year.

Sessions run hourly on 20 February from 10-4pm (the last session will begin at 3pm)

Forest to Fire Wild Cooking

If you go down to the woods on 18 February you will be sure to find a wild-food adventure. Ideal for nature-loving Newtlings, we’ll wander the estate’s hedgerows and woodlands then gather around for collective cooking over an open fire.
