Harvest Weekend
Harvest time is a chance for us to reconnect with our farming heritage and celebrate nature’s generosity with a joyful weekend of food, music and craftsmanship in the gardens. Over 20 - 21 September, expect two days of dancing around hay bales with live music, crisp cyder to toast, Kitchen Garden tours, tractor rides through the orchards, a chance to meet the farm team, Gardener Q&As, Newtling activities, finest BBQ fare and more. Harvest Weekend Tours
We’re running an array of free tours across the weekend, with our Kitchen Gardeners, with Kew’s Kitchen Gardener, Helena Dove and Productive Garden Manager at The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Katie Kingett. A brand-new climbing adventure for Harvest! The Great Big Tree Climbing Company invite you to scale a magnificent tree in a brand-new location at The Newt - a truly special chance to see the estate dressed in its golden autumn colours.
Harvest Veg Competition
Proud of the fruits of your labour in the veg beds this year? Bring them in for judging, bragging rights and prizes to be won on Saturday 21 September. Categories range from wonkiest vegetable to most unique vegetable, biggest marrow and more. Check out the categories and register ahead of time below.
Apple Day Weekend
A two-day celebration of all things apple; from juice pressing to apple games, displays, recipes, cyder tastings and tractor tours through the orchards.
October Half Term

Wildlife Wanderers, Dens & Shelters and Forest Carving sessions join our Bug Architects masterclass – all designed to nurture and inspire adventurous young minds.
