“Spring is nature’s way of saying, ‘Let’s Party!’” – Robin Williams

Spring blooms: Frothy apple blossom putting on a show in the Parabola and orchards

Blossom bursts, treats abound and light and joy descends. Escape to Somerset for that soul soaring spring feeling

New season energy is coursing through the earth, rousing the bluebells and swelling the tulips. Bees buzz as the weather warms and the resident newts have awoken, wending their way to Kitchen Garden ponds and turning on the charm to attract a mate.

Our teams are tending spectacular succulents as we put final RHS Chelsea Flower Show plans in place, and chefs conjure creative dishes with wild garlic, spring greens, glasshouse tomatoes, peas, elderflower and the season’s star: asparagus.

With Easter holidays in touching distance, visitors can expect Hare Hunts, fresh faced arrivals on the farm and activities from tree climbing to crafting. Culminating in four days of merrymaking celebrations over Easter Weekend. Be sure to join us in the gardens to keep up with all the fun.
