Boost your wellbeing and illuminate the dark days of winter when the pull of spending the season under a duvet is strong. With a focus on nourishment, movement and balance, our new series of winter wellness breaks tap into the natural energy of our green and pleasant land here in Somerset, with a little help from our friends.

From January to March, you can book exclusive Live Well retreats in collaboration with stellar speakers and industry leaders, enjoy bespoke menus in our estate eateries, and spend some all-important time reconnecting with nature and yourself. Join us this winter to feel fresh, energised and ready to tackle the year anew.

Nourish Your Body

A curated two-night stay with a focus on food for wellbeing, nourishment (that doesn’t feel like punishment), and the joyful benefits of growing your own. This uplifting and insightful winter escape includes an audience with Jasmine Hemsley, a fermenting & preserving workshop with pickling pros Cultjar, a productive garden tour and a lovely lunch hosted by our own Newt experts, plus plenty of free time to relax and explore.

Mindful Movement

Need a little cheerleading to get you moving? We’ve put together a stellar lineup of fitness fanatics to kickstart your 2026 fitness journey – all wrapped up in an exclusive two-night stay this winter. We’ve drafted personal trainer and lifestyle coach Arron Collins-Thomas to teach the basics of Qigong, and purveyors of premium apparel Tracksmith to guide you through 1:1 movement sessions and remind you of the mood-boosting benefits of consistent movement. Channel your inner Wim Hof with an invigorating cold water dip, practise breathwork with our experts and enjoy daily yoga sessions before dinner.

Find Your Balance

A special two-night stay celebrating ‘balance’ of mind, body and spirit. We’re welcoming breathwork expert and coach Valentina Marzola of Airena to introduce you to breathwork 2.0, bringing back Gaz Oakley to share his journey to self-sufficiency (and perhaps inspire your own veg patch), ​​and enlisting Sarah-Stocker Harding to share her experience of Ayurveda and the principles which changed her life. Enjoy a guided cold immersion and sauna session with our expert and free time to spa, stroll and soak in the beauty of our Somerset estate.
