Summer at Villa Ventorum

Hands-on Roman-inspired activities, crafts and family experiences bring the villa to life throughout the summer holidays - free to Newt Members.

Step into Roman Britain with a packed programme of hands-on family activities throughout the summer holidays. Children can try traditional crafts including pottery, weaving, willow working and fresco painting, take part in Roman games, explore life in the villa through interactive experiences, and enjoy demonstrations such as blacksmithing and bowl turning.

With different activities running across the holidays, there's something new to discover on every visit.
