Harvest Special: Tree Climbing

A brand-new climbing adventure for Harvest! A truly special chance to see the estate dressed in its golden autumn colours.
Sessions run daily at 10am, 11am, 12pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm
£ 20 per person.
The Great Big Tree Climbing Company invite you to scale a magnificent tree in a brand-new location at The Newt. This is a safe and fun way to learn and develop climbing skills, all without harming the trees. Led by qualified instructors, test your balance and co-ordination and enjoy our trees from a thrilling new perspective. This is a great family activity, available for up to 8 people at a time and suitable for adults and children (aged 6+).
The tree climbing will take place by in the field beyond the Kitchen Garden, where we will be holding other harvest events (What3words ///unsigned.promotes.pulsing). Sessions last one hour, please arrive at least 15 minutes before your session starts.
Newt Membership is required to book.

Is this suitable for adults?
Yes, this activity is great fun for adults and children alike.
What is the minimum age to take part?
Participants must be a minimum of 6 years old.
How physically demanding is the tree climb?
The climbing technique does require you to have a reasonable level of strength in your lower and upper body. The majority of work is done with your legs, but participants are required to be active and healthy. We are able to help children who struggle but our instructors will be unable to pull up adults who are unable to carry out the technique.
