Parabola Garden Tour (October)

Join Andy and Henry, our resident fruit tree training and espalier specialists on a guided tour of the Parabola. This maze-like section of the garden houses our National Collection of apples, with varieties from every apple-growing county in the UK, and over 330 varieties in total.

You’ll be shown the techniques and tricks employed to train our trees into different shapes and styles, and learn why the art of espalier makes such a difference when growing fruit. Depending on what’s ripe on the day, you’ll also be invited to taste some of our crop, directly from the trees.

Please note, a valid Newt membership is required to book onto a Parabola Garden tour.
