Newtlings Workshop: Fire-making

Running on Tuesday 18 February 9am - 12pm, Newtlings aged 0-16 are invited to join Bridging Nature leader, Kevin Button to connect with nature, learn new practical skills and find joy in our Somerset surroundings away from their screens.

Join us for an exciting morning of fire-making! Children will learn essential fire-lighting skills using traditional techniques and natural materials. From creating sparks to building a campfire, this hands-on session ignites curiosity while teaching safety and respect for fire, all in the heart of nature.

A valid garden membership is required to book this workshop, however adults do not need to stay for the session. Enjoy some adult time while the kids play and simply pick them up at The Threshing Barn at the end of the session.
