If you go down to the woods today there may be no picnic, but you will find a wild-food adventure.

Ideal for nature-loving Newtlings, we’ll wander the estate’s hedgerows and woodlands then gather around for collective cooking over an open fire.

With gentle guidance, children will learn how to prepare simple wild ingredients, stirring and sprinkling as the forest becomes our kitchen. It’s a workshop of smoky warmth and muddy boots, where curiosity leads the way and little chefs leave feeling more connected to the land, the outdoors and the food they’ve helped bring to life.

There are two afternoon sessions at the following times (1.5 hours each) 13:00-14:30 & 15:00-16:30.

Parents are welcome to drop Newtlings (over 6 years) off for this session, please meet the workshop lead at The Threshing Barn. Under 6's are also welcome, however they must be accompanied by an adult Member, who can join free of charge.
