Several species of fruit tree are worked on giving you a comprehensive understanding of how to prune fruit regardless of the size of your balcony, garden, allotment or farm.

All materials and equipment are provided.

Please wear sturdy footwear and practical clothing.

Includes: Tea & coffee on arrival with the Bakery’s signature cinnamon bun, ending with lunch.

"Loved the whole day. Andy and crew so lovely, knowledgeable, fun and supportive. Lunch at the end was delicious and nice to have a chance to chat with everyone." - Joanie

"Really enjoyed the workshop. It was well organised and very informative. Actually practicing the pruning, rather than just watching how it is done was invaluable. The staff were all very knowledgeable and generous with their help and advice. The extra touches of coffee and cinnamon bun on arrival and a delicious lunch were very much appreciated." - Pippa

"The pruning course far exceeded my expectations. Andy, Will and Henry engaged wholeheartedly in a friendly, encouraging and informative way to provide a course with enough variation to suit all levels of experience, and even trusted us with some pruning in the Parabola. Full marks to the Fruit team at the Newt! I will certainly be back for more and would certainly recommend this course to all. Thank you for a very enjoyable day." - Clive
