Gardens now open. Hotel bookings open from September 2020.

The Botanical Rooms

Every plate of food features something from the Estate and its gardens, whether grown, foraged, distilled or baked in our kitchens and Bakery. Anything that we don’t produce ourselves, we source from the best local suppliers.

The Botanical Rooms

Guests can enjoy fun dining inspired by their surroundings. Sharing small plates as the Georgians did, or feasting on whole meats and vegetables cooked on a unique grill, fired with wood from the Estate.

Reservations for lunch or dinner must be made in advance.
Entry is via the Hotel entrance. Diners can also enjoy use of the Bar and entry to the gardens.

Serving an inventive drinks menu guided by seasonal produce and our Georgian setting, along with fine wines, artisan beers and our very own cyder.

In the original vaulted cellar of the house, communal dining, wine tasting, special events and Georgian feasts for 14–16 people are possible. Menus are inspired by Georgian documents found in the house.

"My menus are really dictated by our gardeners. What they plant and harvest, we use in exciting and unconventional ways. Each plate has its own identity, just like the ingredients themselves."
