Families will learn how to craft beautiful willow and paper lanterns before joining a glowing parade through the grounds, leading to our ancient 200-year-old Druid Tree.

There, as flames crackle and marshmallows toast, we’ll share seasonal offerings and settle around the fire to hear magical tales told by flickering lantern-light beneath the branches of the Druid Tree. A celebration of light, story, and the wonder of the autumn night, steeped in Somerset’s rich folklore and the timeless magic that binds us to nature.

Lantern making sessions run in timed sessions throughout the day (max 12 children per session) while our magical parade and fireside storytime experience will run at lunchtime and later in the afternoon and are open to all lantern makers! Follow the BOOK NOW link to learn more about timings.

Valid Newt Membership is required to book this experience. Only children are required to book a ticket and must be accompanied by an adult.
