Forest School: Afternoon Session (8-11 yrs)

Step into adventure with an afternoon of Forest School for children aged 8-11 years.

Our Forest School experience begins with a guided adventure. Perhaps a visit to the Kitchen Garden, a peek at the newts in the cascades, or a wildlife-spotting wander through the treetops of the Viper.

The rest of the session is rooted in our woodland Forest School Base Camp – the heart of the fun. Here, children enjoy a vibrant mix of forest games, mini challenges, fire making, marshmallow toasting, whittling and knife safety, clay art, and much more. Free-flowing and organic, no two sessions are ever quite the same.

This session for Newtlings aged 8-11 years will offer a step up into adventure and independence, deepening outdoor skills - from animal tracking and stealth games to survival techniques and team challenges, while building resilience and working together. Expect a rich and varied selection of guided activities, shaped by their curiosity for a truly unique experience.
