Newtlings: Bee Craft – Candle Art

Step into The Newt’s creative space and discover the art of working with beeswax in this hands-on candle-making workshop.

Guided by the estate beekeepers and Newtlings team, children will roll their own beeswax candles, shaping and forming them by hand before decorating with delicate wax flowers. Along the way, they’ll learn a little about where beeswax comes from and its connection to the hive. Each candle will then be gently dipped in our own Newt beeswax, adding a final golden layer and a soft, honeyed scent.

Thoughtfully packaged to take home, these handmade creations are a celebration of craft, creativity and the quiet wonder of the hive.

Sessions last an hour, and run at at 10am, 11.30am, 2pm & 3.30pm.
