A safe and fun way to get closer to nature and enjoy trees from a new perspective. Test balance and co-ordination and have an adventure!

Sessions run daily at 10am, 11am, 12pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm

Have an adventure and get closer to nature in our Deer park with the Great Big Tree Climbing Company, who are the largest provider of recreational tree climbing in the country, offering a safe and fun way to enjoy trees from a new perspective.

This is a great family activity, suitable for adults and children. Tree climbing tests balance and co-ordination. Climbs, which do not damage the trees and are led by a fully qualified instructor, are available for up to 8 people at a time.

The tree climbing will take place by the drystone walling workshop area in the Deer Park. (What3words ///viewing.clauses.hardback) and sessions last one hour. Please arrive in the Deer Park at least 15 minutes before your session starts.

Participants must be a minimum of 6 years old.

How physically demanding is the tree climb?

The climbing technique does require you to have a reasonable level of strength in your lower and upper body. The majority of work is done with your legs but participants are required to be active and healthy. We are able to help children who struggle but our instructors will be unable to pull up adults who are unable to carry out the technique.
