October Half Term

Join us on the estate this October Half Term to celebrate the season and share the enjoyment of our gardens over the holidays.

We have a host of family friendly activities running from 26 October - 3 November, including drop-in Pumpkin Carving & Decorating next to the Winter Garden (from 10am-12pm & 2-4pm). Our Newtlings Workshops for children aged 6 +, focusing on wild foraging to fire-making and crafting with leader Kevin Button will be running on 31 October & 1 November.

You can hop on a Horse & Cart ride over the weekend of 26 - 27 October (from 11am-1pm & 2-4pm) to enjoy golden views over to the Roman Villa and back, and pre-book an autumnal Printmaking Session, in 45-minute slots from 10am - 4pm on 26 & 28 October.

The Farm Shop will be brimming with produce, roasting joints and Bakery favourites (it’s never too early for crumble topped mince pies), and our House & Garden Shop filled with cosy autumn homewares and garden essentials. Dig into seasonal specials at our estate eateries and don’t miss our new hot sweet treats at the Gelateria!

The holidays wouldn't be complete without our much-loved Tractor Tours through the Orchards, back from 10am - 3pm, with a brand new route, from the Four Seasons garden over to Avalon.

Planning to visit? We advise members and guests to book the Garden Café in advance if you'd like a table for breakfast or lunch. We also recommend booking exhibits such as the Beezantium and Roman Villa Experience in advance to avoid disappointment - simply head to our 'Plan Your Visit' page.
